How do i change the ship horns?

Here is a short topic on how to change your ship horns to put in SS2008.

Just scroll down to find the message with the attached horn sounds.

After you have downloaded and saved the horn sounds from the above link into a new folder in your computers documents, go to [b]My Computer, Local Disk (C:), Program Files, Vstep, ShipSim2008, Actors, Objects[b] and then select any playable ship you want to change the horn on, eg. Pride of Rotterdam.
Once in "Pride of Rotterdam" (Example) you will see a realplayer icon called "Horn" delete or move this out of that file. Then paste the new horn sound into "Pride of Rotterdam" (Example) and rename it "horn".

Now open up your game, select any ship you have changed the horn on, and enjoy that new sound!

i have vista 64 bit
in win xp and vista 32 bit C:\programfiler\vstep\shipsim2008\Actors\Object[/b]
Here have i those vermasse C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstep\ShipSim2008\Actors\Objects\Big Container and in that folder you find a fil with the name horn.wav take first a copy of this file and replace it with the new horn fil.
here can you download horn files for free link to new horn to ss08 C:\program files\vstep\shipsim2008\Actors\Object in the object folder are all ships

How do i change the ship light
C:\Program Files \Vstep\ShipSim2008\Actors\Objects\Big Container you will hawe new light on vermasse go to bigconteiner folder open it and then the files name are vermaas.lgt
that are the same on all ship the file end vermasselgt remember copy the original file first
so now you can change horn and light on you ships
this is the light file in vermasse vermaas.lgt ----------------- ship name.lgt is the light file

How got new light in you ship
ship name.lgt is the light file

C:\Program Files \Vstep\ShipSim2008\Actors\Objects\OceanStar\OceanStar.lgt

C:\Program Files \Vstep\ShipSim2008\Actors\Objects\Pride_Of_Rotterdam\ pride_of_rotterdam.lgt new light to Pride OF Rotterdam light

C:\Program Files\Vstep\ShipSim2008\Actors\Objects\Sherp \sherpa.lgt link to new light to Sherpa
here you see the light file in red that file has the same name as the skip the blue is folders and the red is file
and here you can downloade light filse in zip files New light to sso8 if you see the secon post of pumaonegollo hi has made a new light file to sherpa this link will download a zip file named Sherpa wenige lichter.zip try download this and put that file in Sherpa folder i shown you
and try play free room and those Sherpa and in weather dark so you will see the different
